To maximise the working efficiency of the Board, responsibility for the Association’s operations has been delegated to three standing committees

Richard Blackman, Colin Harris, Bart O'Toole ,John Starkey and Alan Poulain sit on the Finance & General Purposes Committee
Ray Mallery, John Harden, Colin Harris, Ian Davies and John Starkey sit on the Internal Communications Committee
These committees operate throughout the year, they meet shortly before each Board meeting and submit reports on various aspects of the business of the Association to the Board.
There are 280 Referees’ Societies (ABSs) throughout England who work closely with leagues and competitions in their area to ensure that any parochial problems are resolved to the mutual benefit of everybody.
ABSs based within each County FA area collectively form a County RA Committee who work closely with the County FA in their area to ensure that any parochial problems are resolved.
