Welcome to the Peterborough Referees' Association. This Association is based at the Peterborough F.A. Youth and Community Centre, Chestnut Avenue, Dogsthorpe. The Peterborough R.A. is newly formed after the demise through lack of support for the previous R.A. which ceased in 2003. This new vibrant body had its first meeting on Tuesday 5th December 2006, this was after a joint effort between Northamptonshire F.A and Huntingdonshire F.A to look after the needs of the referees in the Peterborough area. A commitee was formed and currently consists of Chairman Robert Windle, Vice Chairman Paul Mc Vey, Secretary Paul Redgate, Treasurer Julie Morton and Delegate to the County R.A. and Northamptonshire County RA representative Ron Sewell.
The Association aims to support member referees within the Peterborough and District area no matter of their age and ability and County that are registered to .The Association is re establishing links with affiliated leagues and encouraging the membership to reach their potential.
The next meeting is Tuesday 1st April This is at Bushfield Sports Centre, Orton Centre with a 7.30pm start Our guest speaker is Huntingdonshire FA instructor Roger Coxhead. A brief AGM will follow the instruction section. |
