Welcome to the Peterborough Referees' Association. This Association is based at Bushfield Sports Centre, Orton Centre Peterborough. The Peterborough R.A. is newly formed after the demise through lack of support for the previous R.A. which ceased in 2003. This new vibrant body had its first meeting on Tuesday 5th December 2006, this was after a joint effort between Northamptonshire F.A and Huntingdonshire F.A to look after the needs of the referees in the Peterborough area. A commitee was formed and now currently consists of Chairman Robert Windle, Vice Chairman Paul Mc Vey, Treasurer Julie Morton and Delegate to the County R.A. and Northamptonshire County RA representative Ron Sewell, Raffle co-ordinator William Capes and newsletter editorial Michael Dunkley.
The Association supports member referees within the Peterborough and District area no matter of their age and ability and County that are registered to .The Association has re establishing links with affiliated leagues and is encouraging the membership to reach their potential.
The next meeting is Tuesday 3rd March at Bushfield Sports Centre, Orton Centre with a 7.30pm start . Peter Nicholson being the guest speaker. |
