The Society meet once each month, the 2nd Monday of the Month from September through to May.

The evenings are an informal occasion and are a chance to meet colleagues and discuss all aspects of football and refereeing, a guest speaker is invited each month and a range of topics are covered throughout the year.

Past speakers have included Phil Sharp(Premier League  and former FIFA assistant), Garry Willard (Former FIFA/ Premier League Referee), Malcolm Stuart (Brighton & Hove Albion Physio), Dean White (Brighton & Hove Albion Assistant Manager), Fred Graham (Football League Referee), Dave Phillips (Football League Referee).

 We are members of the Referee's Association and are affiliated to the Sussex County FA. The society has around 60 members each season from all standards of refereeing and currently have 2 officials who officiate on the Football League.

The Brighton RA takes part in County events including the Referee's Association Quiz and Five a Side Football.

The meetings take place in the hospitality suite at Withdean Stadium, Tongdean Lane.
