Society News
The Harlow Referee's Society are having a Charity Football Match at Fairways Social Club, Parsloes Road, Harlow, for St Clare Hospice on 22nd August. The match will kick off at 12.30pm. Alongside the match will be a family fun day which will finish around 4.30pm.
The event involves any local business who would like to participate, and this year we are being challenged by 3663 First for Food Service, Harlow Depot. Businesses can get involved by donating gifts or vouchers for the raffle or by taking a stall for the day. The event is full of mums, dads, kids and grandparents alike. There will be a BBQ, Ice Creams and licensed bar. We are also looking for Flowers, Cakes, Chocolate, Cookies, Nail Technicians, Indian Head Massage, Foot massage, Jewellery and Gift Stalls.
We raised over £4,500 for the hospice in our charity match last year against The Harlow Police and we are again hoping for similar results. If you would like to participate in anyway, or you know someone who would, please contact Karen Innes (07967481431) innes.karen@yahoo.co.uk
Our monthly meetings are focused on your needs and requirements as referees. We have guest speakers, on all subjects, Assessors, Law Changes & updates, Fitness, First Aid and more.
